Ernie Henry
Ernie Henryは1926年9月3日に生まれた。
1940年代後半はTadd Dameron、Fats Navarro、Charlie Ventura、Max Roach、Dizzy Gillespieらと共演した。
50
年代に入ると、1950年-1952年にはIllinois Jacquetのバンドで活動し、その後は1956年にThelonious
Monk、Charles Mingus、Kenny Dorham、Kenny Drew、Wynton Kelly、Wilbur
Ware、Art Taylor、Philly Joe Jones、また再度Dizzy
Gillespieのバンドで活動した。脂肪までの短い間に少ないながらリーダー作を残している。
1957年12月29日にヘロインの過剰摂取のため亡くなった。
