Joe Knight
Joseph KnightはBrookryn生まれである。
Earl Knight、もしくはJoseph Knightとクレジットされている作品もある (Lester Young "The President, Vol.4")。
1940年代にはBuddy BanksやOran “Hot Lips” Pageらのバンドに参加し、またCarl Wilson、Bobby Donaldsonらと共演した。
1950-1960年代はNew Yorkを中心に活動し、Kenny Burrellらと演奏していた。Bennie Greenとの録音をBlue Noteに残している ("Soul Stirrin'")。
